New for 2027, we are welcoming scheduled visits to our stud to spend time with our ponies.
Whether you are a tour operator, with a larger group wanting to tick that off their bucket lists, or a small group wanting a hands on experience to get to know our ponies, we can provide that for you.

For certain times of the year, get up close to our gorgeous new born foals.

Where to Find Us
Brygarth Stud is the closest location to Lerwick to see Shetland ponies as well as being one of, if not the, biggest studs of ponies here in Shetland. You can find us just off of the main road driving south out of Lerwick.
Although our ponies are all very friendly, it has taken a lot of work to get them to that point. One moment can set back our hard work. Please do not visit our ponies without guidance from us. Get in touch if you would like to arrange a visit.
